How To Promote Your Teleseminar or Webinar

Webinars & teleseminars are a vital part of online business!

Teleseminars and webinars are great ways to promote various products and services – but how does one promote the teleseminar or webinar event in the first place? Actually promoting an event such as this is easier than promoting any other type of product, simply because people who have an interest want to learn and they want to be part of something while they do it.

The first step in promoting a teleseminar or webinar is to get joint venture partners who have large lists of subscribers, or at the very least, small lists with which they have a good relationship. Your JV partners will promote the event to their lists, and you will gain many participants this way.

The second step is to promote the event to your own list, if you have one. Even if you don't have one, make sure that you start creating one by setting up a squeeze page where participants put in their name and email address. Send all of your traffic, including the traffic that comes from JV partners through this squeeze page.

The third step to promoting your event is to set up a Google AdWords campaign. You will have to pay for the clicks that you get, but your teleseminar should cover those costs easily with the sell of affiliate products, the sell of the teleseminar content after the event, or even with registration fees that you may charge for the event.

These are the three most effective ways to promote your teleseminar or webinar, given the limited time you will have for your promotions. But you can also contact ezine publishers and ask them to notify their list about the event, for an advertising fee. Often, this fee will be a little higher than regular advertising fees for the ezine, but the expense is well worth it if the publisher has a good relationship with their subscribers.

Other advertising methods that work well for other products may not work well for teleseminars and webinars simply because there isn't enough of a time span between the start of the promotions and the actual event. Ideally, you will start promoting your event no more than one week before the event is to take place.
